Booked this tour with food in mind. Actually enjoyed the guide and his knowledge of the area more than the food. That is not to say the food was not good, it was good.

Our tour guide, Susan was very enthusiatic and passionate, she had a wealth of knowledge of the district and its history. The food tasting section of the tour was very diverse, we sampled a wide range of cuisines.

Highly recommended!

Loved the variety

In addition to the wonderful variety of food offered on this tour (make sure you don't eat for at least 2 weeks beforehand as you certainly don't go away hungry) the walk around the village provides a living history lesson into some of the past inhabitants, the architecture and how the area has developed over the years to become the eclectic enclave it is today. This was all brought to life for us by our guide Susan who's intimate knowledge of the neighbourhood was only exceeded by her enthusiasm for sharing it with our group.

One of the real highlights of our 3 day trip to NY

Our guide Raheem was bursting with enthusiasm and reliable knowledge of the area. As a Dylan fan in Greenwich Village there was some useful info, tho I gather that there are other tours more focused on the Speakeasys/folk venues. The food range and quality were superb (particularly the Indian one) and there was more than enough to eat.

This was a nice tour of the village area and there was plenty of food. We had seven tastings, five of which were pretty substantial, so come hungry. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend.

My 4th food tour That should say a lot!

This is the 4th food tour and everyone is exceptional with guides that are passionate about these neighborhoods. Our guide this tour was Susan, a lifelong native of NYC. She knew first hand from her experiences over the years and seeing how the village has transformed since the 1960s. She was a wealth of knowledge. We sampled various places around the McDougal street area. As usual, you are in a small group of 12-15. Come hungry as you will go away very stuffed! Enjoyable afternoon.

We had previously been on the other Food tours of New York, the Original Greenwich Tour, which was SO much fun so we decided to try this one. Oh my goodness, so much fun, so much delicious food, so much diversity, it was wonderful. It's a relatively long tour, 3 hours, but we stayed in a relatively small area so there wasn't too much waking. Our tour guide was wonderful, Susan, she was funny and informative, and the other tour guests were so nice and fun. We come to New York 3-4 times a year so we feel like we know the city fairly well, however these tours give you such a great way to try restaurants without having to spend an entire meal at them. We have already revisited some of the restaurants. We will definitely do more of these, my daughter is now in school at NYU so I expect we will be visiting even more often.
