Overall good experience

This tour gave us a good overview of the area. I liked that about as much as the food! I did love all of the food we tried, and I know I would never have tried many of the food items we were offered on my own. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and we spent more time after the tour visiting recommended spots. Loved it!!

All the food was great. Gives you the best opportunity for local cuisine to revisit for a full meal.

Loved Susan as a guide. She was engaging, interesting, passionate and knowledgable!

Didn't like the offered bites as much as past tours with this company but more a reflection of the restaurant efforts than the tour group, is my guess? The pace of the tour Is not hard on your feet and plenty of options to seek a restroom if needed. Susan was diplomatic and kind but firm when some of the guests tried to take advantage by including extra friends arriving halfway thru the tour. Thanks!

A little long and while our tour guide was very knowledgeable, he was also very long winded.

We really enjoyed the food tour. It was very informative about the area and the food was great. I wish we had done the tour earlier in our trip to New York. There were many places on the tour that I would love to have visited for a full meal. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was great with the group. I was pleasantly surprised that there were more locals on the tour than out of town tourists such as our group. The people in our group will all definitely do another food tour in future visits.

This was our second Food Tasting Tour and it was fabulous. The company was pleasant, the guide was a ball of energy and so full of interesting tidbits about the area, and the food was GREAT! We hardly noticed what a cold day it was with all that delicious warm food!

We did this tour as a family (parents and 20 somethings). I think at any age this was an enjoyable food tour. Learned alot from the tour guide who was very knowledgeable not only about food but New York in General. This was our third tour and we look forward to this as an annual Thanksgiving event.

Tour was fun, but could use a little improvement

I have done walking tours before and this particular tour left me a little disappointed. While we all still enjoyed ourselves, the area we explored was very small. The information was not as interesting as other tours, for example, the Greenwich Village tour, but that may be because of the area we chose. The other downfall was the food that was tasted. We started out with a great deli sandwich, immediately followed by a wonderful Indian wrap at Masala. The next stop involved pasta (mediocre) and bread, the next stop empanadas, so WAY TOO MANY CARBS. Bread, bread, bread, starch. We did have a soup toward the end but everyone was so full that it was hard to enjoy. A variety of food types would have been better. We circled around maybe 3 blocks, so not much area was covered. We also did "sit-downs" in two restaurants. The Cuban place was the better of the two, and only one sit-down was necessary...kind of seemed like a time filler. Tour guide was very pleasant.
