Friends told us about the Greenwich Village food tour and we were really pleased that they had. It was interesting, educational, tasty and gave us an opportunity to explore the area that was previously unfamiliar to us.

We had a great tour guide, Safra, lovely sense of humour and very interesting.

Lots of food, first time I haVE eaten pizza in the morning!

Highly recomend this tour.

Our guide KerriAnn was excellent. We had fun, we ate and we learned many interesting facts on the tour. I live here and I did not know many of the things that were mentioned on the tour. I highly recommend this tour and I am going to book a tour of ChinaTown because I always feel that I really don't know that area that well. Also, the food samplings on the tour were very good and there was a lot of them. The tour was well worth the money and the time.

This was one of the best things about our trip to New York. The guide Amy was lovely, food was delicious (had to go lie down afterwards as too full to move) and overall the tour was knowledgeable, fun, informed and relaxed.

Would definitely book another tour either a different NY one or elsewhere!

Thank you Foods of NY and Amy!

My partner and I traveled to nyc to take in the sights and flavors of the city. We couldnt be happier with the result. We learned so much about the neighborhoods we felt like we were there when they were established. The tastings were a foodies delight and we went back to several during our stay and had meals there. A special thanks to our tour guide. She really knows her stuff. We would highly recommend this to anyone.

Food Tour

Tour was conducted too fast, the eating stops were rushed. I think the guide had to cover too much. Two pizzas, two deserts? Much of the food was average. The Asian food stop seemed out of place in a predominantly Italian food tour. The history could have included more on the wonderful folk musicians who got their start in the Village. Mindless emphasis on what building sold for how much. I do not think I could recommend this tour.

I highly recommend attending one of these tours. The Greenwich Village tour was humorous, factual and food filled. We had many delicious tastings to places that I would revisit. I also would take another food tour; it was that much fun. Our guide, Cindy, was the best.

A walking tour of Greenwich Village while it's 105 degrees outside. Tough, very tough. But, the food was fantastic. Would have been nice to include more wine tastings. Nice tidbits of info on Greenwich Village that you could probably have gotten by Googling. If you are looking for info/background on the different types of restaurants and other eateries in the village, take the tour.

Our tour guide, Sapphra, was charming, enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable of the area and the foods associated with the area. My wife and I learned a lot, and even went back to the village today to sample some more of what was to be enjoyed in Greenwich Village. Very nice.
