Taste mouthwatering eats from undiscovered spots in the cozy corners of Nolita, where old-world charm meets a youthful, downtown vibe.

The food tastes are soo delicious and amazingly light. I love the natural lighting in some of the places we visited making the tasting that much more inviting. I'm definitely going to revisit some of these places.

The selection of stops is a wonderful mix! All of the food was fresh and flavorful. I would definitely do this again. I enjoyed learning about the neighborhood and its residents (family-run businesses). Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable.

I had to cut my tour a little short, but everything that I experienced was fantastic. The food that we ate was absolutely delectable and all of the restaurants and areas that we went to were great. Highly recommend the tour, we had a great time!

This was my fourth food & culture tour in NYC, and just like the previous three, it was great. The food was delicious (and in generous portions), and our guide, Annie, was just amazing - knowledgable, nice, captivating, and super social. The rest if the group was also extremely nice, and we all had a terrific 3.5 hours together.

This is our 5th tour with NY Food Tours. We are big fans. And even though we have loved them all, the NoLita tour may be our favorite. Burt was a great guide.

This tour rocks! The history, architecture, and local personalities (color) lesson on this tour is invaluable. You don't get this information otherwise. Oh ya, and the food and drinks are great! They do a wonderful job of finding outstanding tour guides. The guides aren't people that just arrived to the city and are working while looking for 'real' work. Ok - well maybe they are looking for other work (lots of performers have day jobs), but they didn't just arrive to the city. These folks are obviously seasoned professionals and some are performers and its amazingly fun to hang out with a local NYC performer/professional that thoroughly loves the neighborhood you are touring. They know details that you can't discover without some help. They know the food business, they know who lives in the neighborhood and the neighborhood knows them. You just can't go wrong with this combination of excellence.

If you find yourself in NYC and overwhelmed by the dining options please take one of these tours and learn about the locally owned and operated businesses the survive and thrive in the city. These tours provide outstanding insight to the most fantastic options in the local neighborhood food fare than any other tour out there. This tour provided Italian food and non-Italian options in Nolita (north of Little Italy). We experienced amazing French restaurant, brick oven pizza and Mexican, one of which was like transporting yourself across the boarder to Tijuana. Shame on you if you read this and end up in a national chain restaurant, it's your own undoing.

Our tour guide, Anny, was such a bright spot in the day, I was upset I forgot my sunglasses. She enthusiastically shared her knowledge of a neighborhood she is a local to. Her smile is infectious and her love of this 'gig' is obvious. We totally fell in love with her. Thanks Anny. BTW - her puffy coat picture is a mis-representation of this authentically vintage gal. They don't get any better than this.

These tours can't be beat, they totally rock!!! Thanks so much for a great day out!!!
