Fun and Tasty

Ramin (our tour leader) was friendly and knowledgeable about Chinatown, providing a brief history about the area. It was also nice to hear his own opinions/experiences in dining and hearing recommendations about various restaurants/shops. Good mix of places chosen ( from Peking Duck to Dim Sum)- nice to have at least 2 sitdown places. .

Our tour guide, Kurt made the tour so much fun! He was a wealth of information, combining history of the area, knowledge about food and anecdotes to keep us entertained and informed. The food we tasted was delicious. We highly recommend it.

An interesting experience in that it was pouring with rain but we still proceeded. The tour guide appeared quite knowledgeable about the area and the content of the tour. We were staying in West village - so it helpfully provided us with more detail of our area.

The only thing we would say is that it may have been helpful for people in the group to introduce themselves by name, and to shorten the tour by about 15 minutes.

I had a fabulous time on the Greenwich Village food tour this past weekend. Our tour guide, Amy, was very informed and very friendly. Although it was a chilly day, she did her best to get us inside at many of the locations we stopped at. The food was amazing at and I will definitely be back to visit each restaurant/shop we tasted on the tour, as well as the others she pointed out. I also thoroughly enjoyed the cultural and historical aspect of the tour, as I love exploring new cities and learning about what was once there.

I definitely plan on booking another food tour next time I am in New York!

Despite the freezing weather, Sephra kept our spirits warm with her humor and antidotes. The tour was great...well worth the money. We really liked the selection of restaurants and the variety of food tastings. I found a couple of places to which I want to come back. I plan on returning with friends later in the year and repeat the tour with them. They're gonna love it!

A friend and I took this tour hoping to learn some history about the area and to find restaurants for later in our trip. Despite the bitter cold, the tour guide was in a great mood and happy to share all kinds of information. And we ate enough to be full!!

Chelsea Market Tour

The food you taste on this tour is AMAZING and a good variety of savory and sweet! I enjoyed learning about the history of Chelsea Market Place and the Meat Packing district in general. It was unfortunate that the weather was bad, because half of the tour is outside. Overall I would recommend this tour.

I had a fantastic time on this tour. As someone from a multicultural city who has experienced lots of different cuisines, I was still delighted by the yummy treats offered during this tour. We learned several things about Greenwich Village and felt more comfortable getting around the neighbourhood after the tour.

There was more than enough food to leave you not wanting lunch. One of the great features was getting a fresh slice of hot pizza from the start. We even sat down for a bit during the middle of the tour to have some rissotto, and the fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies were such as treat.

When we walked through the restaurants and shops, I could tell the other customers were somewhat envious about what we weere eating and learning.

In addition, our tour guide was well-spoken, cheerful, knowledgeable, and as in-love with NYC as we became.

I'd highly recommend the Greenwich Village tour. Dress warmly, wear comfortable shoes, and come with an empty stomach. Cheers!

We entered the city on a cold and rainy Saturday and made our way through crowds of tourists with umbrellas. After wondering if we had made a mistake in coming, we made our way to Greenwich Village via subway and were greeted by Cindy--a wonderful, motherly hostess to the Village. We forgot about the cold and rain and thoroughly enjoyed her enthusiasm for all we saw and tasted. It was a delightful 3 hours and highly recommended.
