I loved every minute of this tour. I only wished I had time to take all the tours. Word of warning though - take the advice of not eating beforehand, you will be more than full after this not only delicious but very informative tour. I look forward to returning to NYC!

It was hot as hell but it was still great. The leader kept us hydrated, in cool places when he could, was very informative about the neighborhood etc. I would tell everyone even New Yorkers to take the time to tour.

I was very disappointed by 2 things (1) the pizza at Joe's was not even a full slice. We received 1/2 slice. One pizza was cut into 16 pieces. Our guide was wonderful. She told us how to fold the pizza and eat it but ours was not wide enough to do that. Bummer. (2) Had I known we would be standing at the corner of streets or outside the restaurants I never would have signed up for the tour. You just don't get a true feeling of the venue if you can't go outside. I will give our tour guide 2 thumbs up. She was very knowledgable and friendly. I would not take another tour. Eating on the side of the road it not my idea of fun.

I enjoyed the tour - but if you have problems walking this tour may not be for you. The food was very delicious and made you want to try more items.

Make sure to bring a lot of water for even though it is provided more may be needed depending on time of year that you go.

Also may want to bring a bag w/you if you plan on purchasing any items.

My husband and I are foodies so for our 10th anniversary treated ourselves to a trip to NYC. After much research wedecided on this tour...and did we get it right! Our tour guide, Amy, was friendly, knowledgeable and very engaging. She had lived in NY for many years and not only chatted with the folks we met at each stop, but also was able to answer all our questions with a smile. And the food...delicious! The tour really did their homework and all the food we had was really top quality. My husband and I even came back the following night to catch a show at the Cherry Lane Theater (which we past on the tour) and had dinner at one of the restaurants we visited (Rafele). They were very friendly and treated us to a piece of the best ricotta cheesecake I've had (his grandmother's recipe). If you only go on one tour in NYC- this one is a winner sure to please!

What a great tour!!! The tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly. Each location seemed happy to see us and the food was outstanding. They even served a disk made with califlower (which I hate) but the disk was so good that I took a second helping. This is something that I would definitely do again (this tour as well as I as their others). While this was one of the hottest days during the summer heat wave the guide kept us in the shade while we were outdoors. This company gets 5 stars from me.

Loved the Chelsea Market tour. Hard to decide how to spend your time and money in NYC with so many things to do but this is certainly well worth it!

Daryll was our tour guide and we found him to be very entertaining, knowledgeable and he seemed to be enjoying the tour as much as we were.

The samples were generous in size and the number of stops we made was impressive! We've been on other foodie tours and this rates right at the top!!

Our thanks to Daryll for a very enjoyable time, in spite of the oppressive heat!!

Since we were in New York during a heat wave, this tour was a welcome relief. The a/ c in the Chelsea Food Market only added to an awesome 3 hour tour. Our guide was amazing holding our interest with stories about days gone by in this meat packing industry. The stores that we visited were perfect giving us an overview of what this market offers. The web site will tell you to come hungry and believe it for sure. We had lots of samples and every one of them was delicious. The tour guide gave us a little time to shop during the tour and of course we went back after it was over.. If I lived in NY I would want to live near this market. The walk on the High Line was an extra treat even though it was very hot. We cooled off going back inside the market. When I visit NY again, I will definitely come back to this market. It's also a great place to buy stuff for friends and family back home.

My husband and I went on the tour on Sat., 7/13/13. Sephrah was our guide. She was absolutely hysterical. She made the tour so enjoyable. The food was outrageous from the cheese pie to the cannoli, we loved it all. Never knew how wonderful Greenwich Village really was and I come from Brooklyn!!!! The historical section was just beautiful and the stories she told were very interesting. I would love to do it again, this time with all my adult children. Thanks for a great day in the city.

We lived in Westchester County 13 years ago and now live in Kentucky. We visit NYC every other year. This is the first tour that we have ever taken. We can't wait to visit again and take another tour. Our guide was wonderful - knowledgable, courteous, and very entertaining. This tour was the highlight of our 5-day trip.

This is my second food tour with zerve, my date was the 5th April @11am, and as my first tour the tour leader she was fantastic, the places she told our tour of the Chelsea market her expertise of the meat packing district made the tour a pleasure.

I am back in Melbourne Australia & one of my friends is going to New York in September & she & her friend are doing two tours the original that I did a few years ago & this one.

I will back again in New York & will be going another.

Thank you once again

Lois of Melbourne
