Interesting information - the tour guide made a real effort to interact with each participant referring to each one of us by name.

We were supposed to have good weather but the misting rain we encountered did nothing to take away our delightful food tour experience. First off we met the delightful Anny [with a Y] who we all felt was a long known best friend. We started at The Little Cupcake Bakeshop and had am amazing Blackout Cupcake along with the history of the Blackout Cupcake, You know you can't go wrong when you start the tour with a cupcake and Anny proved it that day.. The tour continued with more delicious tastings and interesting tidbits of history along the way.

Anny was a GEM! Our tour was the first of many to come!

Disappointed

We found the food choices high in starch, heavily cheesed and often fried and that was frequently at the same snack stop. Two members of my group had serve stomach discomfort referring to meatballs and rice balls as belly bombs. I would not be able to recommend this tour based on current food selection

Chelsea Food Tasting Tour was really a great experience! Our food tour guide, Diana, was very expressive and gave us a lot of information about the food we were eating and the history of the Chelsea Marketplace and the Meatpacking District area. I really enjoyed going to the restaurants in the Meatpacking District and about the famous chefs that own the restaurant. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting New York!

What could be better than exploring such an interesting area and sampling different kinds of food? Our guide Curt was knowledgeable and entertaining and kept the tour going at a good pace. I will certainly look forward to visiting the Greenwich Village again. Highly recommend this tour.

Good knowledge of food in area to sample

Food was fresh and tasty

Leader talked a little too fast and there could have been a few more moments of silence

Otherwise was very good.

The Chelsea Market food tour was great. Diana was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food selections were varied and tasty. Many were items that I would never order on my own so tasting them was nice. This was my first tour with this company and I look forward to my next one. I would recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Annie as she lead us through the streets of Nolita. The food was delicious but the history that she shared was almost better!! Annie has a knack for making you feel welcome from start to end. She ends the tour in a very special way that makes you not want to leave her behind. This tour is a must when you visit NYC.

This is a great introduction to the market and surrounding area, the food sampling was varied and tasty and our guide Bob was chearfull, informative and passionate about the area particularly the Highline which is also included in the tour. A return to the market at the end of the tour is a must and the tour itself is highly recommended

Fun, informative, and mostly indoors if the weather is bad. Do NOT eat before you go! Bathroom stop at Morimoto's restaurant is amazing.

This Chelsea market walking tour was the best $49 (ea) we ever spent on something like this...our guide was fantastic...he made it incredibly fun, entertaining and informative for the full 3 hours. 5 minutes from its start, he had everyone in our group knowing each other's names and where we were all from. By the end of it we all felt like new friends.... My mom and I went to together and we both love to cook, so this was a really special thing to do together. It's definitely not for kids unless they are learning to cook - maybe around age 10 and upward and definitely not small children. For adults, it was wonderful and we had a ball! What's better than laughing, (our guide was one of the funniest, brightest guides I've ever seen), tasting amazing foods and making new friends over great food with the best NYC tour guide ever?? Nothing! I can't wait to bring my husband next time and I've highly recommended it to other friends and family for a great NYC thing to do!
