This is my fifth Foods of New York tour and just like all the previous tours, this one did not disappoint. Bert was our very enjoyable and thoroughly knowledgeable guide. It always amazes me the wealth of knowledge the guides on all the tours impart about the food and history of their areas. This tour was a little different than the others in that the tastings took place inside and seated. We had dumplings at Dim Sum Go Go, Duck pancakes at the Peking Duck House, and roti canai (Malaysian flatbread) which was served with a delicious dipping sauce. I have to say the presentation and serving of the duck pancakes was the most impressive. Three roasted ducks (heads included) were brought out and carved right in front of us. The pancakes were then assembled and served on platters. We concluded the tour at Golden Manna Bakery with egg custard tarts that were still warm. If you enjoy food, learning the history of different sections of NYC or just want to spend 3 hours having a REALLY good time, I strongly suggest you sign up for any of the Foods of NY Tours!

Our guide Bert was charming and knowledgeable ! He was very considerate of everyone's needs.

The choices of restaurants and the care that was given to us was exceptionable. I can't wait to come back and try more of the suggestions. I have taken almost every tour this company has to offer and each one is memorable and worth mention to everyone ,who tells me they are coming to Manhattan

Five of us (high school buddies) decided to try the food/culture walking tour of Greenwich Village and it was a great decision. We had a wonderful, enthusiastic guide, Ted, who gave us a lot of laughs and a lot of information regarding the "village." We all agreed we would do another walking tour through Zerve because we were so satisfied with the food, the places we visited, and the gregarious Ted made it all worth it!!

My husband, son, his wife, and I really enjoyed this food tour. The tour guide, Susan, was very friendly and personable. It impressed my that she remembered everyone's names from the beginning of the tour. Her knowledge of the area and restaurants was excellent. We enjoyed all the food, with the exception of the breakfast wrap at the Indian restaurant; however, we feel we would probably like another type of wrap there. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends. Thanks for a great food tour!

After many years I finally got an inside look at Greenwich Village, and learned how the grid pattern imposed on New York almost killed it. We learned what "extra virgin" olive oil really means and the difference between Broadway, off-Broadway, and off-off-Broadway. Had plenty to eat - pizza, cookies, and a great Italian dish made with eggplant. Our tour guide, Sephrah, had us on our toes and laughing throughout. All in all, a great New York experience.

We were 6 ladies from Canada, the Nordic Nannies and we had a great time with Bert. He is a fantastic guide who is very knowledgeable about The Village, past history and modern histories included. The food was delicious, especially the mac and cheese at "Home".

We found our guide Sephrah engaging, informative with a fantastic humorous delivery throughout the tour. It was great to gain an insight into the historic aspects of NYC that as a tourist you would not under most circumstances come across. There was enough tastings that you came away with a very satisfied stomach as well as taste buds. Sephrah's relationship with the restaurant owners, chefs and shop owners made you feel like you were just hanging out with the locals.

Next time we are in NYC we will definitely book another tour.

Great food stops. Neighborhood history and culture relayed in an informative and delightful manner. We went back to try other suggestions and were very pleased.

In addition to Annie's enthusiastic knowledge of the neighborhood, she is masterful with all the people of the group. While we have enjoyed all of our foodie tour guides, Annie was a step above. She had us from the initial introductions and provided an excellent experience.
