Amazing tour and guide

This was a highlight for our 4 day whirlwind tour of NY. Kurt was the best guide I've had in all the tours I have done. Non stop information and commentary. We even spotted Lady

Gaga!! Would highly recommend this tour for its history of the Chelsea Market and Meat packing areas and the great food of NY.

Not only the food

Even though I live close to NYC in CT, I have never been in the Village. I enjoyed not only the tasting from the various establishments, I enjoyed the tour guides history of the village. The village reminds me of Georgetown or Boston's Back Bay. Totally different than midtown. I feel the guide was great

Best food tour!

One of the best food tours I've ever taken (and I've taken 12!) Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting and funny and he spoke loudly so that everyone could hear on the food tour.

The food was fantastic. But it's always the guide who can make or break a food tour - and this guide was fantastic. He was enthusiastic and passionate about what he was talking about and you could ask him for recommendations, and his recommendations were great. We asked him what museums to go to and he recommended the Tenement Museum and the Subway museum and he was right - they were also great!

Would highly recommend this food tour!

Fabulous Tour of Chelsea Market and surrounds

This was a great tour of a beautiful, historic facility and its surrounding neighborhood. Our tour guide, Cindy, was the best. She is personable and knowledgable, and made the three-hour tour fly by. The food tastings were excellent and, as advertised, more than enough to eliminate the need for a formal lunch. The limited size of the group, a reasonable fourteen, added to the positive experience.

Ted was a great tour guide. His knowledge was wide and inclusive. Our group enjoyed not only learning of the foods and tasting but also the knowledge of the neighborhood and history. Thank you, I would highly recommend this tour.

The Greenwich Village Food and Culture tour was terrific! I took the tour with my wife this past Saturday and we have been talking about it ever since. There is so much history with the area including the first Dutch settlement to the British influence to the Italian architectural designs. Don't even get me started on the food...yum! Our guide, Rebecca, was an incredible wealth of knowledge she made it a really, really fun experience. We have already set our minds to purchasing another tour package on our next visit to NYC.

Besides getting to taste a variety of foods our tour guide was an amazing wealth of cultural and historical information for the area. If you are looking for places to eat and more that are not typical tourist attractions this tour is your guide. We went back to eat a meal at one of the stops Cuba. I had the spinach/cheese empenadas, ceviche, sweet plantains, and Tres Leches Cake for dessert. Everything was on the mark.

What a great blending of good food and historic info. Annie, our guide, provided great customer service and was also very knowledgeable about the food, the restaurants, the history, and the current vibe of the neighborhood. We learned a lot and had fun. Would totally do this again!

I went on your food tour last weekend and it was without a doubt a highlight of my trip. It was extremely pleasant and I had the absolute best your guide! My tour guide was Safra and she was kind, enthusiastic about her job and extremely passionate about what she was teaching us. I would highly recommend this food tour and Safra as well. Thank you and I appreciate the fantastic experience!

Nolita/Noho Adventure

Had a fantastic time following Annie, the guide and one the most friendly bunches of tour members around Nolita/Noho. Loved all the food especially Emporio's pizza and Tacombi's food. Enjoyed the history of the area and some of the well-known buildings, Annie's knowledge and passion for the region and the food were excellent. Was touched by her lovely song at the end of the tour, wishing us love and safe journeys.

Wonderful Food Adventure

Despite the size of the group, Bert, the guide, knew everyone's name within the first few minutes and was passionate about his work, food and meeting people. All four food places (Go Go Dim Sum, Peking Duck House, West New Malaysian and the egg tart bakery) provided excellent services, high quality food and substantive servings. My first Food of NY Tour and will not be my last.

It was a cold afternoon but Robin was a great tour guide. She knew the area well and had a good sense of humor
