Really enjoyed the Harbor Tour; a great way to see so much and can then decide which to visit for a more detailed look. Carriage ride through streets of Charleston provided a good overview of city, architecture, history, etc.; tour guide was quite personable and did an excellent job. The Plantation tour provided a great history of slaves by visiting homes in which they actually lived; was somewhat disappointed in the "newness" of the plantation house itself; had hoped to go through a much older plantation home, but still history was well told.

Our daughter was getting married on Folly Beach, Saturday 09/20/2014 and she wanted to take this tour with all of her wedding party. It also included a couple of friends and family.. We had 20 in our party and everyone enjoyed this tour! It was a beautiful night and the view under the Ravenel Bridge was breathtaking. We had a blast and highly recommend it.

Nothing really negative -- just not anything notable either to recommend this cruise over other cruises offered in Charleston. The time on-board, cruising in the harbor, and the blues musicians were pleasant enough, but the food was "uninspired" (read: "buffet service of room temperature school-cafeteria-quality food without even so much as a cookie or brownie for dessert") -- and certainly didn't justify the costs

Cruise & Blues, but no tums to be found

The music was great and the cruise was even better. What a nice night. The Captain even throttled down to just let us coast and take in the ambiance.

The BBQ was not up to standard.

Still, for $90 for the two of us we still found it to be well worth the money!

We would do it again, but probably dine elsewhere beforehand.

Tri combo tour -not enough time

We really enjoyed the boat tour...the guide was very engaging and we learned a lot about the harbor. Glad we were downstairs as it rained. The carriage tour was also very good but it rained towards the end of the tour. Because of the rain and the travel times between events we did not see the plantation. We could have done it a different day but we did not have the time.

Carriage great! Harbor boat tour, not even close.

The carriage tour was awesome. The driver was very friendly, funny, and offered so much history and explanation of Charleston. There is so much beautiful architecture in the downtown area. Once off the carriage there was so much to choose from in the way of restaurants and shopping. A very pleasant experience.

The harbor tour went only a short distance. There was very little to see other than Fort Sumpter and the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. The captain/narrator was very boring. There was nowhere to get something to eat or drink in the time we had to kill beforehand. There was nowhere to sit or even shade to stand in. The only positive to this was the breeze on the water on a very, very hot and humid day. I would never recommend this tour.

When will I learn ? City boat tours are boring . Some crummy bbq and a sub par blues band doesn't change things

I felt we were stiffed onthe deal and please stop it with the expensive scam photos. Drinks were a fair price.

I took four tours last week only one was useful and or fun. I don't feel like complaining any more , but you asked.

We were on the fence whether to take the harbor tour because we only had one day in Charleston. We are now so glad we took the time as it turned out to be one of the highlights of our month-long vacation.

My wife, mother-in-law had a great time.

Ships captain was great, knowledgable and informative.

Eric with MIley were superb. Great description of Charleston, the history, etc...and he was quite funny as well. He made the ride very enjoyable.

Afternoon on ride in the harbor

Wanted to see Ft. Sumtner, so we decided to do the harbor tour. Captain Johnny was very informative and pointed out lots of areas of interest and filled our hour and a half ride with lots of facts and interesting stories. We took the tour in August during the afternoon and part of the tour we were shaded and part of it we were in the hot sun. May advise to take the tour in the morning or evening during August or hot summer months, but do recommend you take the tour if you have time in your schedule.

Harbour Tour was great...Carriage ride not so much

While we loved the harbour tour, we cannot say the same for the carriage ride vendor. There were a WHOLE slew of issues related to poor customer service BUT the tour guide (Bob W) made up for the lack of customer service from staff!!

I would recommend the following for your site and for the carriage ride vendor:

1. Have something on the website regarding parking. There's free parking but we didn't know about it and paid for parking.

2. Have something on the website regarding holiday tour schedules.

3. The vendor needs to better train their employees to handle issues. We pre-paid for our tour but was told that it's first come and first serve. If someone pre-pays, there should be some mechanism to schedule a tour - that is, make reservations.

4. The vendor needs to keep change on hand for customers who need to put change in the parking meters.

Personally, I will never do a combo tour again. While it's convenient to purchase them's not worth the hassle of thinking because we had pre-paid we could just walk up to the carriage and take the tour. The entire ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth.
