Harbor Tour was wonderful!

All of us enjoyed the Harbor Tour. It was a perfect sunny day, We sat on the top deck enjoying the weather and the cruise. The captain was not only very knowledgable, but entertaining. It was nice to hear and see about all of the various locations.

The plantation tour was good. We did the house tour. The time length was perfect. The tram tour around the whole plantation was lovely. Again, the gentleman who gave us the tram tour made it very nice. It was great way to see the whole plantation without walking. I would recommend this tour.

Using Zerve was easy and efficient. I would have liked to have been able to just show my phone though instead of having to get paper tickets given to me.

I commend these tours for being so well run. Follow all directions as written in your printable tickets and you'll have no problem getting to where you need to be. The carriage tour was so informative and we could take lots of photos of the houses we passed. The boat tour was well narrated and informative as well. We booked the earliest tour so we had just 20 or so people aboard. For the early tour, I think the snack bar should provide some kind of breakfast food; maybe sell fresh bagels or donuts; we didn't have time to eat and were hungry. I love the transportation tours. After walking for hours sightseeing, it's was a pleasure to be seated and entertained.

The carriage tour (no more than 16) was our favorite because our guide offered interesting (and humorous) details of each site as our carriage passed by each one. The harbor tour did not get close to any site being described, so it was difficult to be drawn into its historical significance. The guide's presentation was informative and showed visitors what other tours or sights were available to them during their stay.

Personally, I think smaller audiences have a better experience than those that accommodate such large numbers.

If the ticket amount is a little higher, it will be money well spent. V

Getting to the maritime center was easy. The views are wonderful! You can even see dolphin fins. You go inside the center to check in and then get in line to go on the boat. The tour started right on time! It was relaxing and very cool. The tour is full narrated and you learn lots about the history of the harbor and charleston. Seating is limited but I stood up because I didn't want to get nauseous! There's a snack bar but I brought a couple on from home. They let you take a break and play beach music. We even went under that huge bridge and it is magnificent!! I want to do the tour again when I go back!! Highly reccomended!!

Exploring Charleston!

Me and my two sisters were traveling for a sisters trip to Charleston. We were only going to be in Charleston three whole days and I wanted to see everything possible. I came across the Charleston Harbor Tours website and saw we could bundle and after chatting with a representative a little about hours to the attractions I had my mind set. Upon arriving to Charleston that evening I booked our Tri-Combo Harbor, Carriage and Plantation Tour and printed out the reservation ticket from Zerve. I had previously made an itinerary so I planned it out a bit before hand. First Day we did the Carriage Tour which I recommend doing because you can see everything and know kind of where things are. Also morning time is better to beat the crowds and traffic. Then we scheduled the Harbor Tour for that afternoon at 130 which gave us time to find our way down to the Harbor. I suggest getting a taxi or trolley, we walked and got lost so that was difficult. Tour was amazing but bring a sweater because it is chilly on the water. The next day we did the Boone Plantation Tour and got there around 830ish and didn't leave until around 3pm. You don't even realize you have been there that long because there is so much to see. We signed up for the house tour first, and while we waited looked at the garden followed by the guided tour with an amazing guide Eddie, then the slave cabins and the show that goes on at cabin 9 which was really amazing. We had an great taxi driver who not only dropped us off but picked us up again. I felt by combining the tours we were able to get into the attractions and out to the next one without the hold up of purchasing entrances to everything, plus the savings was great by combining them. We also got to stop and see other things without being rushed to get somewhere to buy tickets. So that helped us to see more attractions other than those on the combined tour.

Worth the price.

My only complaints are that the plantation no longer had actual slave cabins that the field workers lived in and that we only got to see a small portion of the house. Did not give me a real feel of the plantation life from years past. The Harbor Tour and Carriage Ride were very informative.

The three of us were very delighted with our tour of the Boone Hall Plantation. The house and grounds were lovely, and each slave cabin was very informative.

The harbor tour was a lot of fun and the dolphins were an added bonus.

We definitely recommend both tours.

I was disappointed in the Harbor Tour. We sat inside and when the tour guide pointed things out we learned we were on the wrong side of the boat and it took 5 min. or kmore before we could actually see what he was talkig aboiut.

I did not go on the carriage ride. My reservation number was taken from me at the gate and I did not know where to go for the carriage ride. I couldn't remember the name of the company after leaving. I went downtown but did not know what to do so I wasted that money.
