All three a lot for one day

We took the boat tour first which was nice and informative. We loved the carriage ride! Our driver was so passionate about Charleston and the history and we enjoyed all the stories he shared. The downside was we had to wait a long time for the carriage ride, so the plantation was closed by the time we got there. I highly recommend you start with the carriage ride, then plantation, then the boat ride if you need to do all of them in the same day..

We had good food, good music and a fun group of people on our cruise. Would do it again when in the Charleston area.

Really enjoyed taking the Tri-Combo Tour. Each part of the package offered something different. The harbor tour was a fun boat ride that offered perspectives on the settlement of the area and some military history. The narrator was fun to listen to, and we even spotted a few dolphins. The carriage tour offered insight into the architecture and homes of downtown Charleston. The guide gave many stories of the people who built those houses, and provided a glimpse into early Charleston society. Finally, the plantation tour rounded out the package by showing a glimpse into life on the plantation. It was also an interesting and touching perspective on the history of slavery. The grounds were also very beautiful. Would definitely recommend the Tri-Combo package.

Two out of three were excellent

I got the combo of harbor cruise, carriage ride and plantation tour. I love boat rides but was disappointed in this one. There wasn't that much to see and the boat was so crowded that if you were on the left side of the boat, you didn't get photos. On some boat rides I have been on, the captain would turn around so all could see but this one did not. Plus they really didn't go that close to the Battery, another disappointment.

However, the carriage ride and Boone Hall Plantation were wonderful, and I would definitely recommend both of them.

Nice but needed more

A buffet generally includes dessert. By not having a dessert, this was a disappointment. Other than that the food was good. The band was pretty good.

The captain gave good narration even with all the Dolphins we saw interrupting his dialog! Sitting at the dock before we left the boat was rocking but once we left the trip was smooth, thankfully. The descriptions of places we were going by was informative, we like history. The canteen was well fitted out and we partook of a good lunch. Seeing that great bridge over Charleston harbor was super, 21/2 miles long and came under budget, amazing feat. Would do this tour again. We also visited Boone Plantation and found the package well priced. The tour of the house was lovely, didn't know a Canadian had once owned it...alright. The gardens were well outlined and the info of the slave cabins and life was well described. Pricing in the cafe was reasonable. We will be back. Thx.

Our daughter was getting married on Folly Beach, Saturday 09/20/2014 and she wanted to take this tour with all of her wedding party. It also included a couple of friends and family.. We had 20 in our party and everyone enjoyed this tour! It was a beautiful night and the view under the Ravenel Bridge was breathtaking. We had a blast and highly recommend it.

Nothing really negative -- just not anything notable either to recommend this cruise over other cruises offered in Charleston. The time on-board, cruising in the harbor, and the blues musicians were pleasant enough, but the food was "uninspired" (read: "buffet service of room temperature school-cafeteria-quality food without even so much as a cookie or brownie for dessert") -- and certainly didn't justify the costs

Enjoyable tour of harbor

Harbor tour was good. It focused less on Charleston and the houses on the Battery than I would have preferred. Captain shared a lot of interesting historical facts about Fort Sumter and surrounding islands. Also his comments about the bridge and siting of dolphin were interesting. Boat was crowded and sun was hot. This tour was good for our group which included some older folks unable to walk long distances.

Took the tour the first day in Charleston. Great way to start as they give you a good history lesson about the area. The entire crew was very pleasant and we had a great time.

Tri combo tour -not enough time

We really enjoyed the boat tour...the guide was very engaging and we learned a lot about the harbor. Glad we were downstairs as it rained. The carriage tour was also very good but it rained towards the end of the tour. Because of the rain and the travel times between events we did not see the plantation. We could have done it a different day but we did not have the time.

This was a fantastic way to see the city. The captain was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor.
