Enjoyable

It was a pleasant trip. The captain's voice and sense of humor was enjoyable. The trip started on time. I learned a lot of trivia that my husband had to listen to the rest of our trip.

reasonably priced, and the tours were worth it especially if you like history. It was a great way to see Charleston in a short amount of time

The trip was great for both myself and my 80 year old friend: lots of good historical info, trivia games and we saw two dolphins up close.

Fun & Informative

The Captain of the boat was very friendly, and very informative about the sights that we saw - Fort Sumter, USS Yorktown, the Ravenel Bridge how it was built, & all the features regarding the colunms & the bridge. We did see a few doplins around the boat. Just be sure and take your sunscreen.

The Carriage ride was fun, saw older part of Charleston, market street.

dual tour gets a 50/90

The combination package looked like an attractive way to get a good taste of the Charleston area. We took the harbour tour portion first, and I was some what disappointed. Not sure what I expected, but since the fort seemed to be the biggest element of the tour, I would have like to have sailed around it and heard more details of the fort and the battle.

The plantation tour was fantastic. The house tour was very informative even if we were limited to the first floor (the 2nd are actual living quarters for the residents of the home). Everything offered should be experienced, the show, the carriage tour and slave quarters in addition to the house tour to get the full effect. Leave 3-4 hours, and bring plenty of film!

Band was too much
Sun, Jul 4, 10   8:00 PM ssh2229 Female 40-49 Local Group of Friends
the band was too big for the deck not allowing room for more people to be up top and watching the fireworks.....piped music would have been great.

I was very disappointed that star spangled banner wasnt played during fireworks or any patriotic music.

Other than that the event was good.

Learned a great deal from both tours!

My wife and I took the harbor tour the day we arrived in Charleston. This tour gave us an excellent overview of the Charleston area and much great information about the military and economic history. The plantation is a gem! We were there for about four hours and could easily have spent many more hours. There are many aspects of the history and current operation of the plantation that allow each guest to find what interests them in an amazingly beautiful location. We can't wait to go back!

A fine tour of the harbor

This is well worth doing. The boat is well-maintained and comfortable, you get a different perspective on the city, see some of the surrounding area, and learn a fair amount of history and geography. That said, the narration is a bit pedestrian -- mostly a fairly dry recitation of facts and dates. (This in contrast to our guide on a carriage tour the next day, who was full of quirky facts, funny anecdotes, and delightful Charleston trivia.) Still, we'd absolutely recommend the harbor tour as part of your visit. You'll increase your knowledge of Charleston...and you'll see bottlenose dolphins!

GREAT! A must do tour!

We loved both tours. The Boone-Hall Plantation was our favorite!!!!!! but we did like the Harbor Tour. It was windy and a little cooler the day of the Harbor Tour and we selected seats down stairs away from the wind. I'm sure we would have liked it better if we were outside on top of the boat. Great deal!!!! A must if you're visiting Charleston area! Thanks!

We had a great time on the Charleston Harbor boat tour w/ Boone Hall Plantation visit. It was an incredible value for the price - $30 total per person! Would definately go with this company again for a similar package.

Discontinued Cruise on the Carolina Queen

This was one of the worst murder mystery parties I have ever been to. It was just a short skit and then at the end you find out what happened which was just as exciting as the skit it's self. It was very confusing and for 30 dollars I would not recommend this to anyone. There are many better, cheaper things to do in charleston

Good Experience

I would definitely recommend this! I took my boyfriend for his Birthday and we had a great time. It was very relaxing just being on the water and all the beautiful sights just added so much more to it. Also, make sure you watch for the dolpins, I got to see one but my boyfriend saw more! I would also recommed getting there early so you get a good seat on the boat.
