This email came to me because I helped my mom purchase the tickets online with my card. She thoroughly enjoys the cruises. She does the Blues and BBQ at least once a year. She will be going to the Murder Mystery cruise next.

We enjoyed the Combo Tour. We did both the Carriage Tour and the Harbor Tour in one day, but we liked the idea that we could take one and then the other on a different day. I had expected some duplication in narration on the two tours, but there was really very little. We did find that going on the carriage tour first and then the harbor tour worked out well as the "land" tour is lighter on historical detail than the "water" tour, and thus some of our historical questions were answered by the "water" tour. All in all, I think I do want to reread some US history!

Very pleasant and informative boat trip

Good overview of history of Charleston Harbor and current Charleston today.

Captain, dolphins, and pelicans were entertaining. Good way to spend a beautiful day in Charleston on the water and a break from walking through the City.

this was a smooth purchase online and helped with our trip, details were exactly like the online purchase stated and was no problem when arriving at destination. I think it was a little over crowded with not enough seating for the amount of people on board, a few less would make this a much more pleasant experience. I would like to take another activity such as this with beach music, this was blues and they were ok but i like beach music, food was good

My friend and I had a fantastic time on the palmetto carriage tour AND the harbor tour. Our carriage tour guide was a lot of fun and had so much wonderful information. We got to see the city streets as well as the gorgeous residential homes. The boat tour was also fantastic. The captain was so informative and very funny. There are snacks and drinks on the boat as well making the whole experience very enjoyable.

Although it was nice to spend some time on the water, the tour was terribly boring and quite crowded. The boat has few seats for passengers, forcing many people to stand for the 1 1/2 duration of the tour. The tour guide had a voice that would put anyone to sleep and did not seem at all excited about the places he was pointing out. I would not recommend this tour to future visitors.

Pleasant but not riveting

We took this tour because we had a half day to take in a bit of Charleston, and we didn't get as much out of it as we hoped. It didn't even go by the South Battery, which I really expected it to. The boat was comfortable, and the captain well-informed, and when he spoke it was interesting.

We ended up wishing we had taken a carriage tour instead. However, if you have a whole day, it is possible and worthwhile to do both.

Discontinued Cruise on the Carolina Queen

The only complaint we had was that the actors were a bit hard to hear (need to project better) even when you were sitting close to them. The actors were good and kept in character throughout the time we were on board the boat. Would go again when they put on a different play.

Discontinued Cruise on the Carolina Queen

Not worth the money at all! We were very disappointed! There were only 4 cast members & while they did their best, the performance was like a middle school play. There were only 25 guests including the 4 of us & none of them dressed the part like we were recommended to do. The bar only sells 4 different types of beer whih are in cans & there was only one bartender. We paid the $7 fee to park to find out one we were aboard that parking was free. There was not a good plot & never did they show that anyone was murdered. I do not recommend this at all. We spent more money on the costumes we were to fit into the 40's theme & were the only ones dressed up.

Well worth the time!

The tri-combo tour of the harbor, downtown carriage ride and Boone Hall Plantation gave us two days of fun, knowledge and laughter all at a great price! Our guides on all three tours were smart, witty and gave enough information and laughs to keep the tours fun and exciting. I would highly recommend this package to anyone visiting Charleston.

Harbor tour was excellent !

Really enjoyed harbor tour and highly recommend it. We took the harbor tour at noon with a reservation, and were told to just show up afterwards for the carriage ride, they leave every 20 minutes. When we arrived prior to 1:30 p.m., we were told the earliest we could go the was at 4:40 pm. When I told them we had a dinner reservation at 6 pm,they suggested we change it to later. It had been the only time available. We accepted a refund and did not do the carriage ride. We felt we should have been told up front that we would have to wait until 4:40 and we would not have set up the combo.

It was our first trip to Charleston and we were interested in historical accounts of the area. The boat staff knew their job in handling large varied group of tourists. The man that narrated the tour did a great job with a sense of humor.
