Nicole, our tour guide, was funny, entertaining, informative and upbeat. She really made this tour fun. I am definitely going to buy gift certificates for the family and I also plan on trying another tour, hoping my experience will be just as positive. I believe the tour guide can make or break this experience.

My husband and I went with another couple and we had a great time! Our tour guide was excellent and the group was made up of very nice people. It was quite expensive for a walking tour.

It was such a wonderful way to experience Milwaukee! I loved sampling different foods, learning new restaurants and ending the tour with a full stomach. Beth was a fantastic tour guide. My friend and I were unfortunately running late and the food tour company was so helpful and accommodating! I was truly impressed. I can not wait to go on another food tour!

I also went on the Brady Street tour which was far better. The tour guide had more to tell us. Didn't seem as canned. Also it was very hard to hear the guide because of the echos in the Market, because of the expressway, because of the Harleys. Food was fine. I just prefer more history of the architecture and the area with the tour, not just the food. I did enjoy that we could get a glass of wine at the pizza place. OH! And we have no clue what places we went to. Why not give us a list of places we visited so we can go back if we want?

Tour started 15 minutes late waitng for a couple. Was at Tulips too long, tour took 3 hours. Less time at eating places would be good. Guide was very knowledgable.

I'd like to have more of the history, especially of different buildings here and there.

An Evening Well Spent

Though I live within 50 miles of Milwaukee, I have very little knowledge of the Third Ward. The introduction to the community, the history, and the food was very enjoyable. Our guide was knowledgeable and adapted very well to the group. The food was plentiful and good. And the weather was perfect.

We enjoyed the tour - learned quite a bit of the local history and had some really great food! While each plate was small, by the time we finished, we had a great lunch, complete with dessert (some of the best Key Lime pie I've ever had). We had a very small group (just me, the friend I was with, and a gentleman from NYC), and that was great because it was easy to hear our guide and we all had a chance to get somewhat acquainted. We went to a couple of restaurants we might not have tried otherwise, and it was well worth the price. Our guide Marie, though fairly new on the job, was personable and knowledgeable - and fun!

I brought my aunt (76 yo) who had grown up in Milwaukee and now lives in Kansas City. She walks slowly, but the guide and the group were wonderful in walking slower and giving her a place to rest along the way. She felt so at home as memories came back. We were so full by the end, but stayed with the tour through dessert.

Congratulations on a wonderful tour - and I'm coming back for other tours!
