Karen was our tour guide and she was excellent. The history of the city and buildings were very interesting and the group on the tour were a great group of people.

We learned a great deal about an area that we never would have visited without going on the Third Ward Food Tour. What fun.

Each local establishment provided my tribe with an excellent taste of various cuisines that were wonderful on the taste buds. Our Guide presented the history and back-ground story to keep us entertained and engaged. We have been on three Food Tours counting this one and we will do a Food Tour again.

Not that great

Had to wait for tardy guests even though add stated that tour would start on time. Food not impressive. One beer served in small glass. Beef slider cooked raw. Overheard employee at one establishment saying that guide didn't give them enough notice. Guide would walk on alone without any real concern about keeping the group together.

We come from the South and expected at least some Wisconsin style cuisine and not something that we could easily find at home.

Good news is that a refund was provided by owner.

My wife and I took our adult daughter and her boyfriend on the Historic Third Ward Food Tour. They live in Boise, Idaho and he was making his first trip to Wisconsin. We all enjoyed getting a flavor of the City of Milwaukee and some of the local cuisine. The tour included some interesting local history and delicious food. The Filet Mignon sliders at Evolution were very good. My wife and I will probably head back to this area when we come down for the State Fair in August. There were a few other riverside bars and restaurants that we'd like to check out.

A fun tour! Despite some rain, we all had a great time. Our guide was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Didn't overdo the facts, just enough to learn some neat things along with tasting some really delicious food.

All stops were good except for Tulip. If they wanted or showcase their place (given that we were the only ones in there on a Friday night at 7 PM) They should probably give us their signature dish, not dry chicken kabobs and rice.

The tour was interesting but overall the food was very basic. $50 was a bit overpriced.

Barry was our tour guide and did a wonderful job explaining the history of the Third Ward. This was my second tour, the first being Brady Street. Our goal is to go on all of the walking foodie tours offered. We enjoy the informative guides, the history lesson and the opportunity to try new foods and restaurants. Keep up the great work!
