40th Birthday Party

I was looking for something fun and different to do with a group of friends for my 40th birthday. This was awesome! Getting to try new restaurants that I would maybe not have tried on my own and having the historic facts with it was icing on the cake! The food was delicious everywhere we went and Marie, our guide, was a lot of fun! Definitely will do it again- perfect idea for when guests come in to town or for a date with my husband.

Cool date idea with fun facts and great food along the way. Don't eat before you go, you will be full by the end!

Milwaukee Food & City Tours responded:
One of the main things that surprises our guests is how full they get from our tours. When there is so much great Milwaukee food to share with our guests, we want to make sure they get the full experience! Thank you for making us a part of your date night, we are glad that you enjoyed it.

Delicious Food

All of the food included on this tour was delicious. I would have liked to hear a little about each item from either someone at the restaurant or the tour guide. We were told what each item was called but nothing more than that. It also would have been nice to see a menu at each restaurant. One last thing, it would have been nice if the wait staff asked if we wanted something other than water to drink at each restaurant.

Milwaukee Food & City Tours responded:
Thank you for coming out on one of our tours, as well as for your feedback. Although, all of our guests are welcome to order more drinks, typically that is done at the bar. We will work with the restaurants to suggest that they take drink orders table-side as well.

Some interesting facts and it was fun to see the inside of Tulips and Smoke Stack and Evolution, but I expect much more quality and flavor from the Third Ward.

The tour was interesting but overall the food was very basic. $50 was a bit overpriced.
