My wife and I had a great time on this tour! We did the evening tour. It was our first time in Miami. Such a fun way to explore the city, sample great local food, and learn more about the history of Miami. The food was delicious and large samples were provided, almost too much sometimes! Christina, our tour guide, was awesome - so friendly and knowledgeable! I will recommend this to everyone, as long as you are willing and able to walk about 1.5 miles and spend 3 hours learning and eating! The only thing missing was alcoholic drink samples, but that's understandable for the price. Can't wait to go back to Miami!

Our guide Christina was very knowable about Miami history and food scene. Introduced to all local eateries that served excellent dishes, and would probably have missed had it not been for tour.

I can't say enough great things about this tour; the food and the history is just fantastic. The tour guides are so knowledgeable and friendly (thanks Nic!!!!), there is enough quality and fresh food to feed an army, and the restaurants are just adorable and little local establishments to make this an absolutely enjoyable day. We've done this tour TWICE and learned so many different things each time - LOVE LOVE this tour. My father can't stop raving about it. Worth every penny!

We had never been to Miami before but now we have a good feeling for the area thanks to our guide Sam. He was very knowledgeable of the food and the area. Enjoyed all the food choices and had plenty to eat. Sam also shared his knowledge of the landscape which made the tour even more enjoyable.

I had a great time on the tour! Gabriel was a fantastic guide. He really asserted his local and historical knowledge while keeping a friendly enthusiasm. The food was also appropriately filling and representative of various Miami flavors. The amount of walking was just enough too - not too far or strenuous after each stop. Will highly recommend!

Excellent way to experience a new city
Fri, Jan 1  11:00 AM Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
Description- About 3 hour tour of the heart of Miami Beach with 5 restaurant stops.

Experience- Miami Food Tours with Sam exceeded our expectations. Our group was amazingly small (only ~ 6 people even though it was the holiday season). After the first stop, I was worried that there would not enough food for everyone or that everyone would be too polite to eat much, however it turned out well! By the 4th stop my husband and I were stuffed. The snacks/meals were a mix of traditional foods and local restaurants. About half were dishes I was familiar with and the other half I would not order on my own but were very tasty. Learning about the food as we ate definitely enhanced the meal. The other tourists were Brazilians - they seemed more familiar with cuisine which I thought was a good sign. My husband is not much of a foodie or architecture-lover, but he really enjoyed this trip too. 3 Hours might seem long, but it was just right for a leisurely eating, strolling and talking.

Guide- Our guide Sam was very friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. Sam is a Miami transplant and his passion for his new hometown was amazing and infectious. Of all our tours on our vacation, this was the best one because of the personalized attention; it felt like a friend was showing us around the city. My advice is to feel free to ask questions - Sam did a good job providing interesting answers and tidbits to our questions.

Cost- the cost was reasonable! We felt we would have paid similar if we had gone to the restaurants on our own. Note: Be prepared to pay for parking!

Miami Food Tours

Miami Food Tours started in 2010, becoming the first Miami culinary tour company with the goal to turn Miami’s visitors into South Beach locals by introducing them to the best of the local cuisine through a selection of the locals’ favorite cafes and restaurants.

We began our research by tasting our way through our own city—fueling up on Cuban coffees, relaxing in SoBe’s European bistros, tasting our way through Miami’s Latin cafes and sharing laughs over plenty of ice cream. We listened to stories of the movers-and-shakers of Miami Beach, had lunch with the local business owners and hung out in the music and entertainment venues of South Beach.

Finally we found the freshest Ceviche, sipped on the best Cortadito and discovered probably the best ice cream in the world. When you join us on a Miami Food Tour, we bring you all of these and more on the city’s finest culinary walking tour—the SoBe Tour des Forks.

From international vacationers to local Miami residents, everybody is sure to discover something new. Whether it’s an architectural gem, a dramatic story from the past or a delicious new dish, you’ll be sure to find your own takeaway.

Our local, passionate tour guides are delighted to share the culinary discoveries, dramatic tales from the past and architectural observations with our guests. We suggest that you take your tour in the beginning of your stay because we will tantalize your taste buds and open your eyes to a whole new side of Miami that we’re sure you’ll want to keep exploring!
