While we enjoyed sampling the food (very good taste and quality) our enjoyment of the tour was dampened by having to listen to our guides political opinions and his negative view of certain groups that have settled in Miami.

First time I have done a good tour so wasn't sure what to expect.

What a good experience. Well worth the money.

The guide was very knowledge about the history of the area

I enjoyed also learning about the foods we sampled.

The portions were a good size and though they said

to eat before coming the portion size was enough to

fill up on.

I would recommend this tour.

This tour is ideal if you like to experience local food and hear about local history and culture. Four of the five food offerings were great and one was just not to our taste. The tour guide, Juanita, was knowledgeable and personable, and was open to enhancing her knowledge from the locals on the tour. We were greeted with warmth at each eatery, which had our table or food ready for us. All in all a highly enjoyable tour.

You wanna get in touch with locals and local food and beside that learn something about the very long history of Miamii Beach? Ok, just kidding- there is no long history of miami beach, but it's interesting to learn about Carl Fisher and the founding story and some background information about Miami Beach!

Our Guide Faruk was very nice and guided us around 1,5 miles through Miami Beach.

There were 5 different local station where we ate tremendous food!

I won't tell more, because you have to do it!

Enjoy the tour and many thanks to Faruk for guiding us

What a nice way to become acquainted with Miami beach area along with short history of Miami, combined with tastings of some local food & drinks in various national kitchens, cafés and eateries in Miami South-beach area!

Tour des Forks Food Tour provided great overview of 100 years of history in Miami while serving us several different and balanced food & drink stops en route. The food and the story telling was great, recommend!

Now I know much more eateries and coffee shops, which are also cherished by locals, where to go for dinner or have a coffee break in Miami South Beach area.

About

Miami Food Tours

Miami Food Tours started in 2010, becoming the first Miami culinary tour company with the goal to turn Miami’s visitors into South Beach locals by introducing them to the best of the local cuisine through a selection of the locals’ favorite cafes and restaurants.

We began our research by tasting our way through our own city—fueling up on Cuban coffees, relaxing in SoBe’s European bistros, tasting our way through Miami’s Latin cafes and sharing laughs over plenty of ice cream. We listened to stories of the movers-and-shakers of Miami Beach, had lunch with the local business owners and hung out in the music and entertainment venues of South Beach.

Finally we found the freshest Ceviche, sipped on the best Cortadito and discovered probably the best ice cream in the world. When you join us on a Miami Food Tour, we bring you all of these and more on the city’s finest culinary walking tour—the SoBe Tour des Forks.

From international vacationers to local Miami residents, everybody is sure to discover something new. Whether it’s an architectural gem, a dramatic story from the past or a delicious new dish, you’ll be sure to find your own takeaway.

Our local, passionate tour guides are delighted to share the culinary discoveries, dramatic tales from the past and architectural observations with our guests. We suggest that you take your tour in the beginning of your stay because we will tantalize your taste buds and open your eyes to a whole new side of Miami that we’re sure you’ll want to keep exploring!
