Discover Miami’s unique Art Deco district—from Lincoln Road to Española Way & Ocean Drive—through the locals’ favorite mouth-watering restaurants and cafés.

On the SoBe Tour des Forks, you’ll get a taste of Miami as your enthusiastic guide takes you through 5 different restaurants and cafes in South Beach—Miami Beach’s most popular neighborhood. On tour, you’ll bypass the tourist traps and go straight to the eateries that the locals frequent to discover the mouth-watering dishes that will fill you up for lunch!
Your 3-hour food adventure may include tastings such as:
  • Miami Nouvelle Cuisine
  • Authentic Cuban Cafe
  • Peruvian Fare
  • Latin American Bakery
  • Homemade Kosher Ice Cream
The SoBe Tour des Forks is not only a food tour, it’s an architectural, historic and cultural walking tour. Besides delving into the foods of Miami, you’ll discover the dramatic history, diverse culture and stunning Art Deco architecture of Miami Beach. Your local guide will share the dramatic (and romantic) stories that illustrate how Miami Beach has been shaped into the glamorous city we know today.

All tastings are included in the ticket price, enough for lunch!

We think this way of learning about a place's history and culture is very good. The guide had good insight of the history and food culture.

Walking and eating tour of the Art Deco district.

My husband and I went to Miami Beach for a quick get away from cold weather at home. Rather than just sit on the very beautiful beach there we wanted to learn more about the area and this tour sounded quite perfect. We met our guide Gabriel at a book store and that was the introduction to our tour of family owned food stops. Gabriel is a local with an enormous amount of knowledge and insight on the Art Deco area and its people.and its heritage. He told us all about Carl Fisher who had the vision of what Miami Beach is today. Along the way we sampled foods from local establishments including Cuban, Peruvian, Brazilian and more. After the three hours of the tour we ended at an ice cream shop...quite the perfect way to end! I totally recommend this to any who are interested in the history and the food of the area. It is a great experience.

Our tour guide Gabrial Price took us on this 3 hour tour despite the fact there were only two of us.

Has was very congenial, professional and informative of the history of S.B. the 5 restaurants we sampled food at and the art deco architecture all around. All around it was a very enjoyable time spent walking around S.B. and we highly recommend this tour, and ask for Gabriel. He really loves his work.

Amazing guide, amazing food, amazing tour!

This was a great way to spend our Saturday morning in sunny Miami! It was our first time to Miami and doing this at the beginning of our trip gave us a really great grounding on the South Beach area. Gabriel was our guide and he was able to articulate his great knowledge and history of the area really well, and with a touch of humour that added a unique touch to the walk. The walking tour on its own was great, but then adding in the food experiences as well really created a fantastic tour. We got to taste the flavours from Latin America that is now local to Miami, so many great dishes that i could talk about but i will leave it for you to discover when you do the tour! It's perhaps important to some to mention that the serving sizes are just what you need in each place, and by the end of the tour you will be more that comfortably full.

Thanks for the amazing time!

One of our best activities on visit to Miami Beach
Thu, Oct 8  11:00 AM Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Group of five women visiting Miami Beach for a birthday celebration started our first day off with the Miami Food Tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting and very well spoken. There was just the right amount of history, architecture, food and drink. It was great to get the lay of the land before we continued our adventures on our own. After attending this tour, we could use what we learned to make the trip even more meaningful during the rest of our stay. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent Tour Guide

We enjoyed this tour very much! Great food. We were given ceviche on two of the stops. I don't mind the ceviche but I could see how some people may not like two tastings with raw fish. Perhaps one place could substitute another dish. Though now that I think about it.... the ceviche at Chalan on the Beach was SO delicious.... Try not to substitute that one!

Our tour guide was excellent... Anquanette. I love hearing all the historical stories of the area. She was very knowledgeable.

We had an exceptional time with our hosts! They were very informative about all the major historical places in Miami Beach. The food was just so amazing and gave you some recuperation time between walking from place to place. It was really awesome and we now want to do a food tour wherever we go! One of the host even recommended a few additional local places to suite our needs!

Miami Food Tours

Miami Food Tours started in 2010, becoming the first Miami culinary tour company with the goal to turn Miami’s visitors into South Beach locals by introducing them to the best of the local cuisine through a selection of the locals’ favorite cafes and restaurants.

We began our research by tasting our way through our own city—fueling up on Cuban coffees, relaxing in SoBe’s European bistros, tasting our way through Miami’s Latin cafes and sharing laughs over plenty of ice cream. We listened to stories of the movers-and-shakers of Miami Beach, had lunch with the local business owners and hung out in the music and entertainment venues of South Beach.

Finally we found the freshest Ceviche, sipped on the best Cortadito and discovered probably the best ice cream in the world. When you join us on a Miami Food Tour, we bring you all of these and more on the city’s finest culinary walking tour—the SoBe Tour des Forks.

From international vacationers to local Miami residents, everybody is sure to discover something new. Whether it’s an architectural gem, a dramatic story from the past or a delicious new dish, you’ll be sure to find your own takeaway.

Our local, passionate tour guides are delighted to share the culinary discoveries, dramatic tales from the past and architectural observations with our guests. We suggest that you take your tour in the beginning of your stay because we will tantalize your taste buds and open your eyes to a whole new side of Miami that we’re sure you’ll want to keep exploring!
