Perfect lunch-time activity for bachelorette party
Sat, Apr 23  11:00 AM Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Between the different dishes, history of the area, and the architecture, this tour was a great activity for the bachelorette party I planned. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Although we ate a lot of food, because we walked between restaurants and it was spread over 2 hours, we never felt uncomfortably full. We certainly left very satisfied!

Delicious Food + Informative Tour = Fun
Sat, Mar 19  4:30 PM Female 50-59 Combination Group of Friends
The 3 hour tour of South Beach's Art Deco architecture and food tasting was all we expected and more. Gary, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared fascinating information about the development of the area. We really enjoyed the food stops at five very different establishments. Again, Gary gave us background on each of the places we visited and the food we tried. While we enjoyed all our food stops, our favorite was the Peruvian restaurant, Chalan, where we tried two very different main course dishes. The Cuban restaurant was also delicious with two different desserts and Cuban coffee, however I would have preferred to have had this later in the tour rather than our second stop. Our group was very interested in the great architecture and would never have noticed many aspects without Gary's expertise. We loved Espanol Way which was like walking down a street in Europe! I'd readily recommend this tour.

Perfect Balance Between Food & History
Wed, Mar 16  11:00 AM Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Sam was an absolute wonderful tour guide, and my two friends and I all had an equally great time. I really appreciated the balance of information we received, between food, the stories behind the restaurants, and the history of Miami Beach itself. All of the stops were delightful: the portions were perfect and Sam had such knowledge behind the ingredients of what we were eating, why they were used, and the story of the restaurants. That combined with information about the architecture and history of Miami Beach during the in between (digestion time needed of course) made it so fun and informative, I found myself repeating everything to other friends later that evening and they were just as interested as I had been.

Overall, the entire experience felt genuine and I felt right at home with Sam, our group, and Miami Beach.

Miami Food Tours

Miami Food Tours started in 2010, becoming the first Miami culinary tour company with the goal to turn Miami’s visitors into South Beach locals by introducing them to the best of the local cuisine through a selection of the locals’ favorite cafes and restaurants.

We began our research by tasting our way through our own city—fueling up on Cuban coffees, relaxing in SoBe’s European bistros, tasting our way through Miami’s Latin cafes and sharing laughs over plenty of ice cream. We listened to stories of the movers-and-shakers of Miami Beach, had lunch with the local business owners and hung out in the music and entertainment venues of South Beach.

Finally we found the freshest Ceviche, sipped on the best Cortadito and discovered probably the best ice cream in the world. When you join us on a Miami Food Tour, we bring you all of these and more on the city’s finest culinary walking tour—the SoBe Tour des Forks.

From international vacationers to local Miami residents, everybody is sure to discover something new. Whether it’s an architectural gem, a dramatic story from the past or a delicious new dish, you’ll be sure to find your own takeaway.

Our local, passionate tour guides are delighted to share the culinary discoveries, dramatic tales from the past and architectural observations with our guests. We suggest that you take your tour in the beginning of your stay because we will tantalize your taste buds and open your eyes to a whole new side of Miami that we’re sure you’ll want to keep exploring!
