You cannot go to Boston' s North End without doing this tour. This is the second time I was on this tour and would go again. Our tour guide has so much knowledge of the history of the North End. The food tasting was just wonderful. She gave us such great ideas about cooking Italian food. And was so informative about the history of the different foods we tasted. It will be the best 3 hours you spend in Boston!!,

Very informative and interesting. I brought my 17 year-old granddaughter and her 18 year-old boyfriend. They were really amazed at how much they learned. We will be back to shop & dine.

We were on a Girls Weekend and thought this would be a great way to see the North End of Boston. Our tour guide, Beth was very interesting and full of knowledge regarding Italian food and the history of the neighborhood. She provided us with an excellent overview of the area today and how it came to be this way through the years. We feel this tour would be appealing to a very wide range of people. Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We would definitely recommend the North End Food Tour!

A fun and enjoyable way to see the North End in a food friendly way. Learn how the North End works to provide great food and atmosphere to your visit. Many more food and drink samples were provided then expected which was a very welcome surprise. All ages enjoyed the experience and will highly recommend this tour to others.

Great taste of Italy!
Sat, Jul 11  2:00 PM SamnangRos Male 30-39 Local Couple on a Date
We went on our honeymoon to Italy last year. This year we celebrated our first wedding anniversary and I decided to do something that would remind us of our honeymoon. This tour was all that and more. Going through the small shops and tasting what they had to offer made me imagine I was back in Italy. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and experienced, not with just giving the tour but she herself had lived in Italy for a period of time. I have lived in Boston my entire life and never knew some of the hidden gems that the tour brought us on. I highly recommend this to anyone trying to live a little piece of Italy.

Beth did a great job! I love the addition of Bricco and the tradition of Maria's pastries. We were with a friend visiting from Montreal and my college aged kids.

Alleyways, Factoids and Tips Galore
Fri, Jul 10  3:00 PM kenschuster Male 70+ Domestic Tourist(s) Individual
On my own, I never would have walked right past the narrow alleyway, but with Beth at the helm we turned-in and discovered wonderful surprises. That's indicative of my experience with tour guide Beth. She had lots of cooking tips, restaurant and food shopping recommendations, as well as an encyclopaedic knowledge of the developmental and contemporary history of The North End. She was gracious, patient and seemed quite genuine in her descriptive appreciation of things Italian and Italian-American. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and will sign up for the Chinatown tour soon.

Jackie gives you the Insider's viewpoint
Thu, Jul 9  9:30 AM sboiko Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
She says hello and chats with each shopkeeper/server at each location and it's amazing how they come to life, because she really appreciates and respects them, as well as the members of the tour group. It was easy to find the meeting location which was a 10 minute walk from South Station through some lovely city park greenways.

Although small in size, there is a lot of walking and many short stairsteps to go up and down. make sure you have a hat, sunscreen and water. The tastes of pork, baked goods and bubble tea were fun, and I was surprised at how many on the tour had never tried them.

My friend and I returned to Chinatown several times and used the recommendations to go back for dinner and souvenir shopping. Thanks, Jackie for a memorable tour, and for answering all the questions so kindly and knowledgeably.
