Cold and long boat ride

It was a nice surprise to have hot coffee and donuts waiting for us when we boarded. The crew was very friendly. It took a while to locate the whales, but when we did, they were everywhere. We could not get too close to them, so if you were not on the rail, you did not get a good view. It would have been nice if the captain positioned the boat so everyone could get a good look. Also it was an hr ride...30 minutes of viewing...and an hr ride back in. Advice would be to make sure you had a seat in the heated cabin because it was COLD! Overall...it was a nice experience.

The crew was professional, and naturalist very helpful and knowledgeable. Not too many whales spotted, but that's the luck of the draw. Hot coffee and, for those of you not watching you calories, donuts. Good time had by all.

A beautiful large, newer clean ship on a clear sunny day is great. Seeing over 12+ whales in one area was incredible! This was the best whale watching trip Ever:) Vito

The naturalist was wonderful and entertaining but not overbearing - she explained what we were seeing and offered scientific explanations and observations, but she also provided us private time to just enjoy the experience.

Great experience at a great time to see whales.

We went at the Thanksgiving weekend where extra tours were offered, and the cruise took place on a smaller ship that was not listed on the webpage. While a smaller ship is in general better, in this case it also meant that it was slower and you cannot get to too many places during the 2.5h search for whales. However, we were lucky to go out at a time where a lot of whales were in the area, and we saw about 5 of them, none breaching though (I guess you need to be very lucky for that). The boat was clean and comfortable, the naturalist and the crew were friendly and informative, and the trip was overall very pleasant.

The Best Whale Watching of my Experience

Everything was perfect - the crew, weather, over 15 humpbacks! I would have been even happier if I had seen a breach. Looking forward to next time!

I tested the no refund policy without success

We never went on the trip. In a total bonehead move I got the days mixed up and never made the tour. It was the ****edest thing, we had gotten engaged on Sunday which I was certain was the 30th and that Monday was the first. We had been on vacation all week and what with everything else going on I failed to actually read my confirmation. Once I realized the error we scrambled down to the dock but the only trip left for the day was canceled due to weather, which was weird in itself because it was a beautiful day. We had to leave the next morning so there was no chance to reschedule. I'm sickened to have missed the opportunity to see the natural event. And the tour company held true to their statement about no refund. So we were out all the way around. Boo.
