I have done this tour in the past and have enjoyed it each time I did it. This is the first time other family members did the tour and they also enjoyed it very much. Would recommend to any one going to New York as a must do.

Wow!!! The tour through central park seemed much more interesting and meaningful because we had the best walking tour guide ever! Of the several interesting sights seen: such as the ice rink and Sheep's Meadow, our guide not only told us the movies filmed there, but gave a short anecdote on the locale, and described the movie scenes referenced. Our guide's movie and TV knowledge burst forth in a stream of enthusiasm. And if you missed it, you get a great handout at the end summarizing the sights visited and the movies filmed. there. Make your NY visit to central Park a memorable one and join this tour.

If you don't know about Central Park, this is a good opportunity to hear it from an expert. The synposes of movies filmed at various sites in the park made the tour interesting.

I thought it was a great tour and excellent value. I never would have been able to find all the places at central park myself as well as know all the movies that have been used as the settings.

Guide was a no show

We were so excited about this tour that we showed up 30 minutes early. But the guide never showed and although they had our phone numbers, no one ever called. There had to have been more than 25 of us waiting. To make matters worse, the contact phone number they gave had a recording, but no mention was made of the cancelling of the tour. Needless to say, I requested a refund. A couple of days later, I got an email that said the money would be refunded in 10 days. It hasn't been 10 days yet so I'm not sure if it will be a no show as well. Beside the total waste of our time, the worst thing about this incident was that we never got any kind of explanation or apology--no professionalism, not even common courtesy.

I recommend this tour for anyone who would like to gain more knowledge about Central Park's rich history, along with gaining information about the movies that were filmed in Central Park. It's a great way for tourists to get acclimated with the park as well. I would do this tour again.

Delightful and full of information

I enjoyed this tour very much and it has a lot to do with our tour guide, Jessica. She was pleasant and very knowledgeable of the park and the exorbitant number of movies filmed in and around the park. It was a beautiful day anyway, which helped a lot, but to learn so much about the history of the park and so many movies filmed there was amazing. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Sneakers & Sunscreen

We were in the sun for quite a while sometimes, so bring sunscreen, wear sneakers (rough paths), and make sure you take water.

The tour guide was informative and fun, and gave breaks that were well-timed. I grew up in the city, worked in Central Park for years, and still learned some new things. A great thing to do on a Saturday afternoon.

I had a wonderful time on this walking tour. Our guide Kimberly was very personable and knowledgeable. She filled our time with interesting facts about the park and movies. I can't wait to go back to New York and take another tour.

2 Thumbs Up

We thoroughly enjoyed our Central Park Movie Sites tour. In addition to finding out great movies that were shot in the park, we also enjoyed learning the history of the park in general. Our Tour guide, Kymberly, was very personable and enthusiastic... she took the time to find out a little bit about us and she even snapped pictures of us (with our camera) in key locations around the park. (This was really appreciated because travelling as a couple, it is always difficult to get pictures of both of us together unless we can flag down a stranger to help out!). We also never felt rushed on our tour....all questions were enthusiatically welcomed and we loved that we were given time to ride the Carousel, get snacks, and even use the restroom. We were extremely pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

And, finally, we just wanted to thank Kymberly for sharing the free promotional tickets for the Live Free or Die Hard Movie Premiere with our group. (We just happened to take the tour on the day that the movie was premiering at Radio City.) Because of this, we got to see see Bruce, Demi, and Ashton (and many more celebs!) walk down the red carpet and we also got watch the actual movie premiere at Radio City Music Hall. It was an experience that we will never forget!
