The definitive Sopranos experience

This is the ultimate tour for any Sopranos fan. The tour guide Marc has not only appeared in several episodes of the show, he is bordering on a Sopranos obsessive. Throughout the whole of the tour he was constantly rattling off anecdotes and trivia, whilst sharing his encyclopaedic knowledge of the show and as the tour is four hours long this is no mean feat! He is the ultimate Sopranos tour guide. The tour itself takes you to many locations (including some which aren't there any more) and culminates in the Mecca for any Sopranos fan, the Bada Bing, which doesn't disappoint. As a big Sopranos fan myself I can't recommend it enough, its an absolute must-do tour if you're in New York. Its superb. The one thing I would say is, if you've never seen the show, as my wife hadn't, you may find it tough going. So watch the show first!

Loved the tour, everything about it. The guide was great and knew everything about the Sopranos; he had a bunch of trivia too. We had a good time with all the destinations.

My husband and I loved this tour despite the cold and wet. Highlights were the BadaBing and Holstens. Great chocolates there! Marc we as a very friendly and knowledgeable guide and gave the tour much authenticity having been an actor on the show. Highly recommend!

Tour guide was great, where the commentary was perhaps the highlight; really enjoyed the personal experience he brought to the tour.

Delighted to actually get to go inside the Satin Dolls and the diner from the final scene. This really elevated the tour from being just a sightseeing tour.

Excellent value for money.

The tour hit all the major spots associated with The Sopranos as well as minor ones while the tour guide offered explanations, stories, and plot summaries for the locations. There were also minor locations shown as well and clips were shown a couple different times throughout the tour that showed all the different locations visited by the tour. The tour guide, Marc, was very nice and knowledgable about the locations and the show. It was really interesting to here behind the scenes stories and learn about different tricks and mess ups from the the show. It was a really fun tour and made me want to rewatch the series having visited the locations now!

I didn't know what to expect never having been on a location tour, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour guide Marc Baron shared in-depth knowledge of the characters and locations having worked on the show as an extra and provided us with plenty of laughs. The tour set off from Midtown Manhattan at 1000am where we met Vito flogging merchanise and heading through the Lincoln Tunnel and into familiar territory from the opening credits and many memorable locations from the show e.g. the diner where Chris was shot, Barone sanitation, Big Pussys autobody shop, Satriales pork store (though its just an empty lot now) Father Phils Parish, Pizza Land, Holstens ice cream parlour where the last scene was filmed, etc. We exited the bus on a few occasions with Marc explaining the location and insights into the shooting e.g. how the local fire dept provided rain for one of Pussy meetings with the feds :) The last stop was the infamous Bada Bing (Satin Dolls) strip joint - I sat at the bar near Tonys stool and pictured him taking his rage out on poor Georgie - RIP James Gandolfini, what a great loss... We headed back to Manhattan having taken 4.5 hours to complete the loop - excellent value at only $49 and I'd say its a must for all diehard Sopranos fans! Thanks again to Marc.. Paul (Scotland)
