The Ultimate Sopranos Experience
Sat, Jan 4, 14   10:00 AM Fraternale Male 20-29 Local Couple on a Date
After watching a television show like The Sopranos and others considered the greatest of all time, you inevitably want more. Whether it is more content or more of the experience, you crave another dose of the show. This Sopranos On Location tour provides that next level sensory experience.

My girlfriend and I had finished watching the show last year. As huge television fans also involved with production and writing, we always scratch for that last bit of content from our favorite shows. When we discovered The Sopranos tour, it was a no brainer. First of all, definitely pay the extra $7 to sit in the reserved front rows. It enhances the experience greatly as you get to interact with the tour guide and get more out of the experience.

The tour guide, Marc Baron, couldn’t be more knowledgeable about all things Sopranos. Having worked on 13 episodes of the show himself, he provides insight from behind the scenes. He knows every Sopranos fact in the book and is willing to answer any question. Though my girlfriend and I had read practically everything about the show and seen every special feature, we found ourselves floored by all the amazing trivia we had never heard before.

Not to spoil anything about the content of the tour (it’s best to just go for the ride), but the four hour bus trip takes you from location to location through New Jersey and back to New York. There are several opportunities to leave the bus for photos, namely the Bing, Holsten’s (final scene), the diner where Christopher was shot, and a 10 minute walking portion through many locations in Kearny.

Throughout the tour, Baron asks many trivia questions, some for prizes. Along the way, he plays scenes through the TV monitors to give perspective/reference on the locations you’re passing. There is never a dull moment on the ride which is filled with content and fun. Locations like Bada Bing and Holsten’s are waiting for the tour to arrive. Holsten’s clears out the booth from the final scene and provides free onion rings, also playing the music from the scene. They have their system down!

Perhaps one of the more notable parts of the tour happens right before it starts. Joseph Gannascoli, aka Vito Spatafore, parks his SUV in front of the tour bus, selling merchandise and taking photos. He is unaffiliated with the tour, but they let him do his thing. It’s great to meet one of the actors, especially one so prominent towards the end.

Overall, I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. It is the height of all Sopranos experiences and a must for any fan!

It was an excellent tour with a very good guide. Better then I imagined. We not only saw major locations but many locations were where critical scenes were filmed.

I couldn't be happier with the experience I had on the Sopranos Sites tour. My partner and I had an absolutely fantastic day touring around NY and NJ with Marc Baron as our guide. We were constantly smiling, laughing, and in awe of all the facts and trivia Marc shared with us. The tour was thorough, packed with information and amazing screen locations, and extremely fun. Marc shared a wealth of information and showed us a truly wonderful time. I have already highly recommended the tour to all of my family and friends who are Sopranos fans!

I got the Sopranos tour as a gift for my fiancé. I had never seen the show but I really enjoyed the tour! I thought Marc was very knowledgeable about the show, and I loved his jokes! My fiancé enjoyed it as well, being the huge Sopranos fan that he is. He loved answering the trivia questions. I liked seeing the places where The Sopranos was filmed , and then seeing it in clips of the show. Now I want to watch the show!

I purchased the tour for my boyfriend for Christmas. He is a huge Sopranos fan and we both had a great time. We loved being able to sit in the booth from the final scene and going to the Bada Bing. We also learned a lot of interesting trivia and information about the show. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is a fan of the Sopranos.

This tour was absolutely brilliant. I, along with my other family members learnt so much that we didn't know about the show. We also got to see so many places featured on the show-more than I ever imagined and a great tour guide who was clearly passionate and full of knowledge. I highly recommend this tour. It is so worth the money and time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Sopranos tour. We we're lucky enough to meet Vito before the tour started (beware he expects a purchase of his merchandise from the boot of his car with the photo). Tour was enjoyable, though I thought I was a big fan until I met some other people on the tour!! Serious die hard fans of the show. Personally found the badda bing bar a bit creepy, but thats just my personal opinion.

The one downside which couldn't have been foreseen was an altercation with another driver, who ran us off the round basically forcing our driver to break abruptly. There was a scuffle between the 2 drivers and police were called. We were delayed quite a bit but I understand that couldn't be helped. Left a bit of a dampner on the whole trip especially as the guide didn't feel the need to fill us in on what was happening.

All in all great fun and would recommend it.
