Great tour of locations from The Sporanos. Mark Baron, the guide, has been an actor on set and was funny and informative with excellent stories. Visits to Holstens and the Bada Bing as well as other places made for a brilliant tour.

Bonus that Joe Gannascoli signed photos and posed for pics before the tour!

From the start after reading previous reviews I was a little bit hesitant regarding extra expenditure throughout the tour, this is not the case. After meeting the guide Mark Baron it was evident that he was very knowledgable about all aspects of the show and I couldn't of met a friendlier person. I couldnt recommend this tour enough to fans of the programme.

Outstanding tour of Soprano's sites. Includes trivia you'd never otherwise know, and a great atmosphere that includes music and video clips that enhance the drive time between sites. Sitting in the booth that "T" sat at to end the series - well that's just the perfect ending...with Onion Rings!

I had not expected much from this tour, but it was exceptionally well done. The tour guide Marc Baron was brilliant, plenty of humour and very professional. Lots of interesting detail about the making of the Sopranos, and inside information (he was an extra on the series). We visited locations and then were shown clips from the Sopranos of where we had visited. I would definitely recommend this tour!

My boyfriend (who is a huge fan of the show) and I really enjoyed getting all the little tidbits about what happened on and behind the scenes. It was a great insight to the show and all the characters.

The Ultimate Sopranos Experience
Sat, Jan 4, 14   10:00 AM Fraternale Male 20-29 Local Couple on a Date
After watching a television show like The Sopranos and others considered the greatest of all time, you inevitably want more. Whether it is more content or more of the experience, you crave another dose of the show. This Sopranos On Location tour provides that next level sensory experience.

My girlfriend and I had finished watching the show last year. As huge television fans also involved with production and writing, we always scratch for that last bit of content from our favorite shows. When we discovered The Sopranos tour, it was a no brainer. First of all, definitely pay the extra $7 to sit in the reserved front rows. It enhances the experience greatly as you get to interact with the tour guide and get more out of the experience.

The tour guide, Marc Baron, couldn’t be more knowledgeable about all things Sopranos. Having worked on 13 episodes of the show himself, he provides insight from behind the scenes. He knows every Sopranos fact in the book and is willing to answer any question. Though my girlfriend and I had read practically everything about the show and seen every special feature, we found ourselves floored by all the amazing trivia we had never heard before.

Not to spoil anything about the content of the tour (it’s best to just go for the ride), but the four hour bus trip takes you from location to location through New Jersey and back to New York. There are several opportunities to leave the bus for photos, namely the Bing, Holsten’s (final scene), the diner where Christopher was shot, and a 10 minute walking portion through many locations in Kearny.

Throughout the tour, Baron asks many trivia questions, some for prizes. Along the way, he plays scenes through the TV monitors to give perspective/reference on the locations you’re passing. There is never a dull moment on the ride which is filled with content and fun. Locations like Bada Bing and Holsten’s are waiting for the tour to arrive. Holsten’s clears out the booth from the final scene and provides free onion rings, also playing the music from the scene. They have their system down!

Perhaps one of the more notable parts of the tour happens right before it starts. Joseph Gannascoli, aka Vito Spatafore, parks his SUV in front of the tour bus, selling merchandise and taking photos. He is unaffiliated with the tour, but they let him do his thing. It’s great to meet one of the actors, especially one so prominent towards the end.

Overall, I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. It is the height of all Sopranos experiences and a must for any fan!
