Wonderful experience!

We booked this tour because our 15 year old grandson thought it would be fun. It far exceeded my expectations! Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and taught us so much about the art of pizza making. Next time we are NYC we will take another Scott's Pizza tour of a different area.

Saw a report about this on CBS Sunday Morning, but wasn't sure what to exactly to expect. It was a hoot! Just enough pizza, just enough facts, just enough people, and LOVED the little notebook. Definitely worth the time and the money. Good tour guide.

Partner and I live in New York, but brought our non-native families along. We all had so much fun—seriously, everyone will enjoy this tour. There were people on our tour who came to NYC just to do this tour, and at the end, they felt it was totally worth it.

We were excited to have Scott himself as tour leader! A little history, a cooking lesson and a tasty meal, a great way to spend 3 hrs in NYC. This was our second Scott's tour and we are looking forward to a third!

Scott was enthusiastic and upbeat and made us all feel that this was his first Pizza Tour (although I understand that he does at least one a day and has done for some time). We found some unique and out of the way pizza places, and to top it off, got to eat yummy pizza.

I took my 2 daughters, ages 12 & 10 on the pizza tour and we all enjoyed it. Who knew there was so much to know about pizza! A great way to learn something fun and see a little more of NYC. Joe was our guide and his enthusiasm and knowledge about Pizza and NY were great. You can't help but enjoy this tour!

Best tour ever!

I had an idea from description of tour and reviews that my husband and I would love this tour but that hardly does it justice ... It was the highlight of an amazing vacation. Starting with Scott he came in from the get go with so much genuine entusiasm to meet each of us and take us on his visionary tour through the realm of Pizza! So much attention to every detail from going into first stop Lombardis when closed so we could look in the oven ... Going out of his way to engage with everyone and getting them to participate and discuss views on pizza both positive and negative. The school bus and driver were both a fantastic touch and the tour never lost its momentum. I felt a lot of care had been taken with all of the pizza spots chosen so they were different and all had special and unique stories! 3rd spott Rizzos also gave us special birthday Canolis from pizza tour guest Scotts bday ... Nice surprise extra! Then at Scott tour guides suggestion we had a white pizza at last spot Best Pizza In Williamsberg .. It was great and myself and Phil felt we made some great people on tour itself ... I guess it goes to show only the greatest people would go on a pizza tour!

I have already told so many people how ridiculously amazing Scott and his pizza tour are and would go on it every time I go to NY!

Hopefully I have made my self very clear ... loved the Pizza ... Loved the tour .. #HugeFansOfScottsPizzaTour

Scott was a great tour guide. He had lots of energy, but made you feel comfortable to ask questions, react in whatever way, experience the pizza as you wanted. So much fun. A great thing to do on a Sunday afternoon.

Great experience! Though a bit expensive

Wonderful guide, lots of interesting information passed along in a great manner. Pizzas were delicious for the most part, though 40$ for a 3-hr tour, especially for pizzas that cost 3$ a slice, is a bit much...

Pizza - Pizzazz

As they say in NY - what could be bad? You get to eat pizza while learning about pizza. And, who knew there was so much to learn?

Scott was a fabulous guide. He was interesting, knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic, and he tailored his presentation to our group, which included two boys, aged 10 and 13. Our 10-year old was enthralled to hear about how yeast works, while our 13-year old got to eat all the pizza he could handle.

It was a fabulous day to be walking around Greenwich Village (although I doubt we could credit Scott with that.)

Try this tour! You'll like it!

If you're not into pizza then it likely isn't the tour for you. Since most of us enjoy or love pizza, it should be a great tour for you. Alexis was our guide and did a great job. We got to eat our first NY pizza at the very first pizza restauarnt ever in NY--was really fun.
