Pizza a Casa Pizza School rated excellent on Trip Advisor, Yelp and Google:
“Phenomenal pizza, Phenomenal fun.”
“Our favorite NYC experience.”

"The time flew by and the class was worth every penny!" says: "I'm not just talking about learning to make pizzas at home. I'm talking about making pizzas that are better than 99.9% of the pizzas you'll ever have at a pizzeria or delivered to your home. Pizza a Casa will teach you how to make them."
The NY Daily News says: "Pizza a Casa founder Mark Bello has mastered a recipe for dough and a method for getting his oven appropriately hot. The results are on par with what you get out of the city's better pizza shops. Better still, they can be reproduced in any kitchen."

Voted Best Pizza by the Village Voice:
"That's why the pies that Mark Bello teaches his students to make at Pizza a Casa are such a revelation. Bello doesn't use a fancy oven (it's set at an attainable 500F), but the crusts that he conjures up are as crisp, chewy, and delicately charred as anything served at a restaurant-- and the best part is that you can easily make it at home."
Entrepreneur Magazine says “Mark Bello perfected the pizza, then built Pizza a Casa Pizza School, teaching pizza-crazed New Yorkers how to do it themselves.  Last year The Village Voice declared Mark Bello's pizza one of the three best in NYC-- and this in a city with more than 1,800 pizzerias.”

If you are looking for a fun experience while you are in NYC, I definitely recommend heading over to Pizza A Casa. Neil (instructor) has been making pizzas since he was 14 years old and he really knows his stuff. The class was extremely informative, 100% hands-on and just a blast altogether. You will begin by making your own dough, patting it out (soft bongos), and then creating your own perfect masterpizza! TWO THUMBS UP!

Totally worth it! A really fun evening and a great way to end a great trip! Would highly recommend! Lots of spare pizza so if you are travelling perhaps go a few days before you leave so you have time to eat! Fun team - great great place!
