Missed it

We were caught in traffic on the Holiday weekend and missed the boat's departure by just a few minutes. What a shame. They make it quite clear that they do not refund or re-schedule.

This trip was a lot of fun. The narrator provided interesting information about the homes, city, history and more while keeping us laughing the entire time. We also had quiet periods to just sit and enjoy. The ship had seating on the upper and lower deck both indoors and out so you could sit wherever you wanted and still hear the narrator. Overall it was a fabulous trip!

Went on April 1, 2014. 3:00 boat Tour. Ft Lauderdale.

1-Very old bathrooms

2-Captain had so much to tell about the tour of homes yet his tone was always cynical. Cutting down the people who lived in the homes.

3-music playing was old 70's rock

4-boat broke down 1/2 way through the tour. We waited with free drinks. But since I already biught and paid for all of drinks it really did not matter to me because I didnt need any more drinks.

5- mechanic came and fixed boat took about 40 minutes in all

6- upon return the rushed us off so the 5:00 tour would not be late

7- should have refunded our money or another tour

8- captain never came out to talk to passengers

9- they advertise this to be in a shopping mall area but the store fronts are 80% empty

10- wish i went on a water taxi or catamaran ride instead.

Take an annual trip to Ft Lauderdale in Feb, always take a city cruise as there is so much to see, and every time you find something new, have tried just about all of the tours offered by boat, found this one enjoyable and informative, but have taken other city boat tours where we got much more information, still welll worth the cost and time. nice boat.

Pleasant cruise but short on commentary

Nice weather always helps a cruise so that was excellent!

We passed another cruise boat (Carrie B.) that appeared to be more full

Of passengers--probably because commentary

on River Cruises was very brief. Still fun to see how the other half lives

We really enjoyed our ride. It was affordable, easy, and interesting to see the notable places on the waterways of Ft Lauderdale. Because of the temperature, the passengers were a bit crowded into the sunny part of the ship to stay warm, but aside from that we had a great time and would definitely go again!

We got this hot time from the Englishman at the check-in. The seats up front were the best! They had chairs with backs on them. The houses were beautiful and the Captain knowledgeable about who lived on Millionnare's Row.

Take the water taxi instead

We ended up taking a different boat that is normally used - this one is used for charters and not a good setup for a tour boat. There was very limited seating; none of which provided a good view out the sides of the boat to look at what was being talked about - so if you wanted a good view you needed to stand up for the 90 min tour. And $3 for a small plastic cup of soda is ridiculous. The guide sounded bored the whole time, and based on the # of times he stated that 1000 people a day are moving to ft L and how he said it, i'm guessing he's not a fan of the people moving in.
