Charleston Schooner Pride LLC

Zerve Seller: SailThePride

The Pride is an 84 foot Tall Ship sailing in Charleston’s historic harbor. Each  sail is its own adventure. The Pride is a three-mast ship modeled after the old trading schooners that sailed up and down the coast during the great days of sail. She is comfortable with ample deck space and seating for up to 49. With the engine off and  sails full, she quietly glides along as guests enjoy the natural sounds of dolphins, gulls, wind and water, an experience that is both relaxing and romantic.

Our Daytime sails and Sunset cruises are  a favorite of tourists and locals alike. The Pride sails with the wind and tides, so there is no set course and every cruise is unique! Because we remain in the harbor, you can see all the sites of the area, but depending on the day, we get closer to some than others. The PRIDE is USCG certified for up to 49 passengers and  is docked  at the Aquarium Wharf.

Experience all the beauty of Charleston, the gem of the Palmetto State, aboard the Schooner Pride!

Very Romantic
Sat, Aug 1  9:30 PM Male 40-49 Local Couple on a Date
Attended: Moonlight Sail on the Schooner Pride
The crew was very helpful, polite and unobtrusive! We sat in the very front of the ship and the owner actually came up and made a recommendation for us that turned out to be way more comfortable and gave us a better view! We motored out away from the dock and then hoisted sails. Once the engine was off, it was so peaceful and romantic. The sound of the seagulls, the waves hitting the ship...the sound of the partyboats buzzing the tower...

OK, so the partyboats and the drunks detracted slightly from the romantic cruise, but not enough to decrease my enjoyment. Perhaps a different course? One that puts you further out and away from them?

I also made sure to pick a night with a full moon - highly recommend this!!

Overall, it was a great experience and I plan on doing this again!

Relaxing Sunset Cruise with Great Views
Fri, Jul 31  7:00 PM Male 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
Attended: Sunset Sail on the Schooner Pride
We found the sunset cruise to be very relaxing and a great way to end a vacation in Charleston. Crew did a great job of making sure we were comfortable and had all the beverages that we needed. Views of the harbor and of the City of Charleston were wonderful, especially as the sun was setting.

Beautiful night in Charleston
Fri, Jul 31  7:00 PM Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
Attended: Sunset Sail on the Schooner Pride
What a great night - the cruise was amazing. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunset, the water, the view and the boat. The Captain was friendly and informative and the boat was not too crowded - just enough people to make it fun. The cost was right in line with what we were looking to spend for a relaxing two hours. The others on the cruise were couples, singles, families with teens and some younger children. This would not be an activity for anyone with mobility limitations. Well worth checking out - I give it an A+
