Had a free afternoon and decided to take the 2 hour tour. Fun way to get an overview of Richmond, it's history and neighborhoods. Was concerned about the safety but we were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to acclimate to the segways. I'm not athletic at all but felt very comfortable within the first 15 min. Tour guide was great - pleasant and patient.

An Enjoyable and Educational Tour!

My husband and I just moved to Richmond about three months ago and didn't know a whole lot about the city or where anything was located. We had a lot of family come visit us for a week that also didn't know much about the city, so we decided that a segway tour was a good opportunity to see many landmarks in the city and become educated on them. The segways were easy to navigate. They were a bit unusual at first and it took a few minutes to get used to them. The tour guides did allow us all to practice on them before we began the tour so we could become acclimated to them. Some of the members of our family cannot walk for long distances especially up and down the hills in the city. The segway was a good alternative for an exploration that was easier for those in our family. We had family members up to the age of 60 that had no issues with the segway. The city was so beautiful and all of the landmarks you visit on the tour were very historial and had so much history behind them. The tour guides were very friendly and funny. Most importantly they were very educated on the history of the city and were very friendly. They made sure no one was left behind and were also willing to recommend places to eat and others sites to visit while in the city. I highly recommend this tour as it was educational, fun, beautiful, and good bonding for the family!
