As the legendary Kurtis Blow was our guide, the tour was spectacularly filled with amazing insights to the history of hiphop. Together with his partner and especially the bus driver (he knows so much about hiphop), Kurtis performed a great tour for our group. Thanks to everyone participated in organizing and conducting such a great tour. I had a great time and highly recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the culture of hiphop.

I thought the tour was fun, but felt a bit rushed when trying to soak in the sights and history of hip hop. We spent a couple minutes at the Apollo and did not even go inside. Pity. Perhaps a few less stops with more time at each would be better.

The Best Tour I Have Been On

Due to the L train being delayed for 20 plus minutes, I exited the train at First Ave to catch a cab. When in the cab, a representative from Hush Tours texted me about my whereabouts, and I called to make them aware of what happened, where I was, and my interest in meeting the bus to participate in the tour. The bus driver told me where to meet him, and I met the bus and the hip-hop tour proceeded. Grandmaster Caz and his assistant were professionals, and made, what I saw, all of the tourist feel comfortable.

Also, I'm Brooklyn born and raised, and was the only non-local tourist aboard, and because you're from NYC, that doesn't mean you shouldn't do features that tourist are known to do. I learned a lot about hip-hop in NYC from primary source--Grandmaster Caz, and saw NYC through through a different lens being that I'm a native New Yorker. I recommend this tour for all local, national, and international tourist!

Our Tour was fantastic, We came from Canada to check it out, with my 18 year old son. We all thought the stops along the way added a lot of information, and especially enjoyed seeing Harlem and the Bronx, off the beaten path of normal tours. I highly recommend you check this out when you are in NYC if you are a fan of hip hop, or want to learn more about it. Toug guides add a lot of information and backstory. Great job guys !
